The core of the CGRE's teaching concept is the further development of teaching at the institute while maintaining the same high quality and standards. Digital Fellowship

Prof. Wellmann received a fellowship for "Innovation in Digital Higher Education" by the Stifterverbund NRW in 2018. Supported by this fellowship we developed novel methods to teach numerical methods and geoscientific programming to geoscience students interactively and step-by-step.

Applied Geophysics

The Joint Master Applied Geophysics is an international degree program offered by the University of Delft, ETH Zurich, and RWTH Aachen University. Prof. Wellmann is responsible for the coordination of this Master's programme at RWTH Aachen University and member of the Joint Examination Board, as well as head of the local examination board.
